About
Hi, I’m Krustian Weston.
Music producer, programmer, sound designer, and all-round nerd of the smelly persuasion.
How this started
I’ve been doing music since school, and started working in recording studios as soon as I left. I immediately became annoyingly famous and had a number one record — something I have been striving to get away from ever since. I would rather just do cool things I like, and I am not a very social person.
Now that has thankfully died down, I found myself getting interested in converting a lot of what I had made in modular software into VST and AU plugins. These are the result of that.
What I do
Using my programming and production experience I created plugins I would want to use myself, converting things I have used in my music over many years into VST and AU format across all major platforms. Plugins that are creative, plugins you can play, things you can subvert and abuse, and unique concepts that push the boundaries of what is possible.
I make the software I want, because it is not out there.
I used to use Vivaldi for the workspaces, but Google banned the best adblocker on the market. So I made my own one, with a forked fork of Firefox.
Then I had problems navigating the crap on YouPube, so I wrote a plugin to do that.
Then I disliked the onslaught of right-wing media, so I made a plugin to block that from everywhere in my internet experience.
I took an open source terminal that used cloud agents and converted it to use local models. Then I got carried away and added insults into the command line.
